I visited the Balcony Speakeasy Bar as part of my 7 day trip in Vietnam, where part of it was spent in Da Lat.

This is the place to be at if you want to spend a night sipping on a cocktail in a cozy environment and the nicest staff. This bar is located away from the noise of the city along a quiet Quang Trung street with only a few visible lights in the surrounding area.

Stepping in felt like discovering a hidden gem amidst the town's quaint streets. The bar exuded cozy vibes, with smooth RnB tunes playing in the background. Inside, cherry-coloured lights hung from the ceiling, which casted a nice, warm reddish hue over the entire space.

The outdoor seating area is an alfresco oasis, complete with plush cushions and a large projected screen against the wall, where movies are screened under the night sky. To my understanding, prior reservation is required, which you can do so via Instagram.

The bar featured an extensive menu with unique cocktails which all sounded too good, so I settled for The Manhattan after recommendation by the bartender himself.

Since it was a Monday evening, the bar was relatively empty so the bartender and I struck up a conversation. Few moments, later, the bar owner, Hoàng, happened to be in as well, so she joined, before sharing that a few friends will be joining. Before I knew, we had a mini party going.

I truly had an eventful night meeting this group for the first time - Perhaps what truly stood out to me was the incredibly friendly staff, who made me feel right at home. Overall, I feel the Balcony Speakeasy Bar's relaxed ambience and cozy nooks proves to be the perfect spot for any occasion, whether enjoying a drink solo or catching up with friends.
